STRATEGIC PLANNING
Debra has significant expertise in strategic planning, including the preparation and project management of planning scheme amendments ranging from large scale retail proposals to site specific controls for State significant projects. Debra also has experience in the preparation of development plans and master plans for greenfield subdivisions and Schools and can offer expert advice on the drafting and implementation of Planning Scheme policies and overlay controls.
STATUTORY PLANNING
Debra offers significant expertise in the preparation and management of planning permit applications for a diversity of land uses including schools, child care centres, greenfield subdivisions, retail projects and signage. Debra's ability to work with local government combined with her excellent negotiation skills ensures timely and cost effective results on projects.
ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING
A key component of Debra's consulting experience over the last 25 years has been her role as the lead consultant on a range of large scale, multi-disciplinary, environmentally sensitive projects. Her project experience includes road and rail projects, mines and quarries, as well as a variety of energy projects including power lines, terminal stations and a number of different wind farms. Debra's significant experience in this space means that she has an excellent understanding of the range of environmental issues that need to be considered in such complex projects and has the ability to provide expert advice and guidance on information requirements, approval pathway options and engagement needs with key stakeholders.

Debra's extensive knowledge and understanding of the property and development sector means she is well placed to provide strategic and commercially sound advice on site acquisitions and development potential. Debra also has experience in highest and best use assessments to support compensation and acquisition matters, particularly in relation to rail and road projects.
